Based on the new CDC guidelines, For those who are fully vaccinated, masks are no longer required. (You are welcome to wear one if you are more comfortable doing so). For those who are not fully vaccinated, we ask that you continue to wear a mask for the safety of others. We will continue to stream our service live on our church media YouTube channel.
If you will be visiting our campus during Child Center hours (M-F from 7am - 6pm), please wear a mask when entering the building. This is in guidance for operating child care programs during COVID-19.

Church Re-gathering -- What to Expect
In an effort to continue living out our mission as a church and care for those God has entrusted to us, we have prayerfully put together a Re-gathering Plan for in-person meetings. Every effort is being made to ensure that each gathering is prepared to be in harmony with our local leadership, medical professionals, CDC recommendations, and the heartbeat of our church family.
When will in-person gatherings resume?
We will return to on-site services at The Fairview Church on Sunday, July 12 at our regular time of 10:30 AM. While King County is in Phase 2, we can allow up to 25% capacity in the Auditorium and plan to use the gym and room 305 for overflow.
Personal Precautions
> First, if you are 'at risk' please manage your health. We will still be streaming service online so you can watch from the safety of your home (see details below).
>> Second, it is very important that anyone who is not feeling well or has been around someone with Coronavirus to say home to protect the rest of the church community.
>>> Third, follow all the guidelines that have been publicized - wash your hands, don't touch your face, keep your distance from others, etc.
Will church look different?
Touchless Experience
While, we expect our in-person gatherings to feel the same, like the rest of society, we do know that the way we interact with each other will look a little different for a while. We have modified areas of the church that have included physical contact to keep our church family safe. Facial coverings are required by the state. We will have hand sanitizing stations available, we do ask that if you are able, to bring your own personal supply. Instead of handshakes and hugs, we ask you to find creative ways to say hi, like high five in the air or an air fist bump!
Auditorium & Gym
We are limited to 25% capacity of the Auditorium. We ask that families sit together and distance themselves 6 feet or 3 chairs a part from other people/families. We will have ushers counting the amount of people in the Auditorium. You may choose to sit in the Auditorium or Gym with overflow seating available in room 305. Bathrooms and will be sanitized before and after each service, along with disinfectant wipes/spray available for your convenience.
Gathering
We are so excited for our church family to greet each other and catch up. However, our Auditorium isn’t big enough to accommodate greetings and allow for social distancing. We ask that you either converse in the gym or outside before and after services.
Will the Online Service Stream still happen after July 12?
Yes! We will continue streaming the live service stream on Sundays going forward. There will be a link on the website to direct you to the YouTube service or you can subscribe to The Fairview Church Media YouTube channel. These services will be available online during the week if you are not able to attend on Sunday.
We are so thankful to begin meeting again, even in this somewhat restricted manner. We appreciate your cooperation, assistance, and support of the above guidelines. We want to open in the safest way possible and with the best possible testimony to our community, state and local law enforcement and leaders.
If you have any questions, please call or email the church office.
